The link on the download page is to 'about:OpenPandoraBeta.zip' and did not download the file, at least in Firefox 2.0.0.1. I downloaded it from here instead. After installing, the About dialog shows the right version, 0.6.7.2.

Hi! It seems just to be beta 2 not beta 3.

Just an FYI...

These are not totally gone yet. Both of these happened to me this morning. I ended up exiting and restarting to get the title to update again. I had left OP paused when I went for a meeting and, when I returned, I fired off a long VS C++ build before clicking play from the menu. I am not sure if it was the pause duration, the CPU load when it was resumed, or some other combination of factors, but a couple of songs later, I noticed that the system tray balloon help still had the song title from before the pause. A quick check showed the player title had not updated either. I have not been able to repeat it since, but will keep an eye out for it and maybe dig around the code a little.

High CPU can cause this.
Did Refresh help you?

No. Refresh did not help. The build was a not a quick one and I did not wait for it to finish. When a few tries of the refresh did not work, I exited and restarted.

I'm having a problem with the new beta. When I try to run the program, the Open Pandora window pops up, but only shows as an outline (nothing in the window). It closes after a few seconds, and leaves a system tray icon and disappears on mouseover. Previous versions had worked for me, although the 120dpi bug made it somewhat unusable in general.

Something similar happened again, though with a slight difference. I had a build going again and the player was paused. I resumed the player from the menu (player still hidden) and, within the same song, triggered an I don't like on the menu. Shortly (5-10 seconds) after the next song started, the prior song title still showed in the system tray balloon. I restored the player and the title had not updated yet either. I refreshed and nothing happened. A couple seconds later, I refreshed again and still nothing happened. This time, I waited. Eventually (15-20 seconds), it finally refreshed and displayed the correct title and the notification popup. During this time, the CPU was mostly loaded. The menus and display of the player were responsive, though the popup notification, title change, and refresh were not. A song or two later, while the build was still going and the CPU mostly loaded, I tried it again (all from the menu with the player hidden), pause, play, skip, I don't like, but without any of the prior delays occurring. It may be that, once the title update stops when the CPU is loaded, it takes a while for it to get back in sync after a refresh.

Another weird thing happened a few minutes after the above. I had moved my notification window to the upper left corner of the desktop, over some desktop icons. The song changed and, just as I was going to click on an icon, the notification appeared under the mouse and I ended up clicking on it instead. The notification window went away, but then it came back again and went away a second time. It's not really problematic, but odd just the same.

I just dug through the code and found that the last item I mentioned was intended (IsMouseOverPopup = true). I must have moved the mouse back over the popup notification as it was disappearing, thus triggering the reappearance.

yes, you are right

If you have problem or crash you can help by installing DebugView from http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/debugview.mspx .
Run DebugView.
Run OP.
Send me the output after the problem or the crash

Pandora found yet another way to annoy us again; now, with audio commercials. This is causing a script error in openpandora. Would subscribing to their paid service get rid of all these annoyances? I thought paying was only available to Squeezebox owners.
