It will even follow along and tell me that a song is paused if I pause it in my browser, but for the life of my, I simply can't get OpenPandora itself to load the Pandora screen.

I'm using a proxy (I'm outside the US)called secure-tunnel. I set the proxy in OpenPandora but it still doesn't work.

Even stranger, when I used Openpandora in the US without a proxy, it worked fine AND worked fine for a few weeks after I left the US and had to use a proxy again but then stopped working again, just like randomly one day. And this is all on one computer.

My proxy works totally fine for every other program.

What gives.Jonathan 'Cao Cao' Kos-Readhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07322160861098967193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24759944.post-40981979931450400232007-06-02T15:30:00.000+03:002007-06-02T15:30:00.000+03:00What is your windows version and service pack, int...What is your windows version and service pack, internet explorer version and etc.eitanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10985586772949559758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24759944.post-35577089164370410852007-06-01T21:40:00.000+03:002007-06-01T21:40:00.000+03:00...I don't know what/where that is or how to send ......I don't know what/where that is or how to send it.Jacob Chapmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17520994001305713276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24759944.post-61762957717851631662007-06-01T20:46:00.000+03:002007-06-01T20:46:00.000+03:00jacob: can you send your system configuration to o...jacob: can you send your system configuration to openpandora@gmail.comeitanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10985586772949559758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24759944.post-73299572173883071182007-06-01T19:59:00.000+03:002007-06-01T19:59:00.000+03:00In the US, Alabama. In the US, Alabama.Jacob Chapmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17520994001305713276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24759944.post-89114470359219923892007-06-01T11:40:00.000+03:002007-06-01T11:40:00.000+03:00jacob: Are you located in or outside US?jacob: Are you located in or outside US?eitanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10985586772949559758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24759944.post-47746548299063620702007-05-31T20:52:00.000+03:002007-05-31T20:52:00.000+03:00I'm using 0.6.8.8, is that not the latest release?...I'm using 0.6.8.8, is that not the latest release?Jacob Chapmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17520994001305713276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24759944.post-26575239548632601492007-05-31T16:59:00.000+03:002007-05-31T16:59:00.000+03:00try latest releasetry latest releaseeitanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10985586772949559758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24759944.post-3860001563464208282007-05-31T03:47:00.000+03:002007-05-31T03:47:00.000+03:00I love pandora, but everytime I try and run OpenPa...I love pandora, but everytime I try and run OpenPandora I get this runtime error at the "Please wait, Pandora is loading" screen:

A Runtime error has occured.
Do you wish to debug?

Line: 6
Error: Object Expected

[Yes] - [No]

If I hit Yes twice, the box goes away but OpenPandora never loads. Because of this, Ctrl+Win+Enter does not display the correct notification for the currently playing song. It display the notification for the first song that was started instead. Once the next song starts normally (not immediately after a change), notification is fine again. I have not been able to trigger it yet on subsequent changes. I suspect notification receipt during a narrow time window (popup activating?) causes it, but I haven't had a chance to check the code yet.

Is there a roadmap of what features are yet to be added to make up a 1.0 version (and beyond if available)?Tim Butterfieldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04459421887360408011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24759944.post-72592670653924551792007-02-19T19:27:00.000+02:002007-02-19T19:27:00.000+02:00Thanks for sharing your experienceThanks for sharing your experienceAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24759944.post-80268112145901237732007-02-19T11:42:00.000+02:002007-02-19T11:42:00.000+02:00This is planned. What combination you thought of?This is planned.
What combination you thought of?eitanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10985586772949559758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24759944.post-29529826417536374922007-02-19T00:43:00.000+02:002007-02-19T00:43:00.000+02:00Can we get ability to change global shortcuts? I see the same plugin error when submitting tracks with QCD player once in a while, but after a couple of minutes the submit is retried and 9 out of 10 times the submit will succeed in the end.
2) It's a pity that submitting after 5 unsuccesfull retries will end the process and is followed by a memory purge. The track count will be lost for ever because the track is not logged and kept for later retries... :(

I hope this helps making the product even better!

Cheers!

TheoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24759944.post-87034750699597938212007-02-01T21:50:00.000+02:002007-02-01T21:50:00.000+02:00Just a hint (since it took me a while to find it)....Just a hint (since it took me a while to find it)...

For those having trouble getting this working, make sure Settings, Control, Global Shortcuts is enabled.

TimTim Butterfieldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04459421887360408011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24759944.post-56550589851131703122007-01-31T20:31:00.000+02:002007-01-31T20:31:00.000+02:00Thanks Theo. Thanks Theo.eitanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10985586772949559758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24759944.post-56917638427931483542007-01-31T12:06:00.000+02:002007-01-31T12:06:00.000+02:00During the last few days I have discovered that po...During the last few days I have discovered that posting tracks to Last.fm is going wrong is some situations. When this happens, OpenPandora does not retry to post the track to Last.fm, or keep a log of the tracks to post them later when the problem is solved.

The funny thing is that when I restart OpenPandora, everything is fine again and posting to Last.fm works without any problems for some time. Until the "BADAUTH" message appears again and I have to restart OpenPandora again...

I hope this problem description is thorough enough for you guys to solve this problem (one of) the following beta releases. I am a really big fan of OpenPandora and use it quite often, especially in combination with Last.fm.

Kind regards,
TheoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
